1. Respectful Communication
   All users must be respectful to each other. You should only post in English and avoid using rude or hurtful language.
   
   
2. Use of Content
   The lessons, stories, and audio on this site are for your learning. You can use them to study, but do not copy or share them without permission.
   
   
3. Participation in Forums
   The forums are for learning and practicing English. You are welcome to ask questions and share ideas, but make sure you stay on topic and are polite to others. Always post in English.
   
   
4. Privacy
   

   Please do not share personal information like your address, phone number, or passwords on this site. We want to keep everyone safe.

   Some features, including the optional Online Skills Assessment (OSA), may ask for personal information to help provide services and support your learning.

   By using the OSA feature, you understand and agree that your information may be collected and used for purposes such as:

   • providing assessment and learning services
   • sharing required information with program funders
   • creating reports for planning and evaluation
   • meeting legal and contract requirements
   • supporting program promotion, annual reports, and success stories
   • sharing assessment results and related information with CanAvenue.ca and New Language Solutions as partners delivering this service

   
   Your personal information will only be used for these purposes. Your information will not be shared with other organizations without your permission, except with CanAvenue.ca and New Language Solutions as partners working with this service.

   Your information will be stored safely and securely. We will keep your information only as long as needed for the program and legal requirements.

   For the CLB-OSA project, your information will be deleted after 2 years if your account is inactive. After that, you will need to create a new account to use the service again.

   The OSA feature follows Canadian privacy laws. You can ask for a copy of the privacy policy or ask to see your records by emailing info@canavenue.ca.

5. Account Responsibility
   Your account is your responsibility. Do not share your login details with anyone. If someone else uses your account, you are still responsible for what they post.
   
   
6. No Harmful Content
   You are not allowed to post anything harmful, including anything that could hurt others, such as offensive messages or false information.
   
   
7. Changes to the Rules
   CanAvenue may change the rules from time to time. We will let you know if there are changes. It is your job to read and follow the new rules.

By using CanAvenue, you agree to follow these rules. If you do not, your account may be suspended or closed.
